As with any project, your budget will define the available options and capabilities of your simulator.

Options range from a static rig (that can later be updated to a motion rig) to  a number of motion rigs capable of 2DOF (pitch/roll), 3DOF (pitch/roll/yaw - traction loss), 4DOF (pitch/roll/heave/yaw - traction loss) or 6DOF (pitch/roll/heave/yaw - traction loss, surge, sway) motion.
